yak

Yak wool is one of the warmest animal hair that can be used for textile processing. Due to their very soft properties, garments made from yak hair become warm, soft favorites.

The yak originally comes from the Himalayas and is now also kept in many parts of Mongolia. But the animals also feel at home in Switzerland.

The wool is obtained partly by combing and partly by shearing.
