Manx Loaghtan is an endangered breed of sheep that originally came from the Isle of Man. Rosy Green gets annually after the Shear a small amount of this wool, which may look different every year depending on the weather.
Rosy Green donates part of the proceeds (previously 16,000 euros) to the Rare Breeds Survival Trust, which advocates for endangered breeds of sheep.
The wool comes from controlled organic animal husbandry at Langley Chase Farm in Wiltshire, England. There, Jane Kallaway lovingly ensures that her animals have a happy life.
